Digital Restorations
Eventually I intend to make a website for my restoration services that I do here in town where I live.
I do restoration work as a sideline now on photographs, video and audio. I also do a complete video service where I'll take your old VHS tapes or miniDV footage and do basically whatever needs to be done to them such as color and gamma correction, noise reduction, cropping, panning, compositing, scratch and dirt removal, even changing it from 30-fps to 24-fps for theatrical release, and will shoot it back to you on either DVD or DV format. (Sorry, I'm not working in hi-def as of yet). I can do a complete DVD package that includes motion menus and Dolby AC3 sound.
I do audio restoration work on just about anything from old cassette tapes from people's weddings to video soundtracks. The restoration process involves removing hiss, hum, pops, clicks, equalization adjustments, mono to stereo conversion, splicing, fades, time/pitch stretching etc. Here's an example of a restoration I did from a 1915 diamond disc recording of Thomas Edison speaking:

Photographs involve many of the same techniques used in video restoration such as scratch removal, color and gamma correction, brightness/contrast correction, and removal of unwanted objects using cloning and airbrushing. Here's an example of a restoration I performed on an old photo of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his children:
